There is a restaurant called R.J. Grunts. They have a tremendous salad bar and the best burgers in the city of Chicago. I have been eating there for over 15 years and I just love the atmosphere and the staff is pretty cool also.

Jerome's in bridlington. Its right on the sea front where you can watch the trip boats go out as you enjoy your food and beer. Maybe not the classy of places but i travel a hundred miles at least twice a year just to spend an hour there.
Its like being in Spain without the flight there.Of course it does need to be a nice day.

The Queens Head Pub in Troutbeck, Cumbria, UK. It is in a lovely setting amidst the green hills of the Lake District. It is an old Coaching Inn and has white painted walls, open fires, and an old Elizabethan four poster bed frame around the bar.The food is outstanding with a French Influence....Collops of Vennison, with red cabbage and a red wine reduction for instance....Only 20 mins drive away..got my juices going, may set off today......

My favorite place for Italian food is Cafe Zucherro in Little Italy, San Diego. They have the best lobster ravioli and dessert bar.
I also like Old Town Mexican Cafe for the homemade tortillas.

I like to go to a restaurant that serves a good seafood dish done in an Italian fashion such as linguini in clams and clam sauce with melted garlic butter.

For Italian it's 'The Villa Romana' near Stow-On-The-Wold Gloucestershire or for other general wonderful dishes(and puddings) 'Chequers' at Churchill not too far from here.
