You shouldn't if you're trying to be healthy! The best take-away is Thai as the sauces aren't full of sugar and it's more about the natural flavours than deep frying everything! Chicken or vegetable dishes are the best. Plus you don't feel gross after indulging as the food is much lighter.

Keep up the hard work :)

Besides the obvious soup and salad, I would say stir fried vegetables. The problem with chinese food is they make almost everything in a wok with a lot of oil, or they deep fry it in oil. The rice is fairly healthy.
I would choose noodle dishes over meat dishes (fewer calories/fat in the noodles).

Try to avoid crispy and battered chicken, beef etc as they are deep fried. Always go for dishes with clear sauces. Go for boiled rice or noodles instead of fried rice or chips. Avoid the prawn crackers and fruit fritters.

The ideal meal would be any of their clear soups. Chicken/Beef with mushrooms and onions and boiled rice or noodles. Avoid the desserts as they are invariably fattening.

I'd say boiled rice and anything with fish or chicken. I don't think it hurts to eat chinese as a treat now and again and have you ever seen a fat chinese person?!

In all honesty, I don't think there are any healthy items on a chinese takeway menu. That's why they're so enjoyable!

Alot of it is deep fried and full of preservatives (msg) I'd go for a stir fry or something with a healthy sauce in it.

As far as I know vegetable chow mein isn't too bad, other than that the soups and plain rice, but that isn't exactly fun.
