Looking for a good place to go for dinner before my brother's bachelor party. I'm not from Miami, so any recommendations you can share are appreciated. Looking for a good place to go with the guys, but not a chain (unless its a place like Smith and Wollensky or the Palm).

I heard that Mcdonalds grinds up the whole cow in a meat grinder, even the shitt in its digestive track and puts the whole crushed cow into the hamburger. Now i know they do this with their chicken meat, cause it was on super size me. I find this kinda gross. But im not sure if they do it with cows. Could someone clear this up for me? They also prefer to put defunct chickens in the m eat grinder cause they're cheaper than normal chickens.

I'm going to be going to NYC with a couple of friends just to hang out. Are there any good restaurants that are cheap, good, have vegetarian options, and have a cool atmosphere?

Preferably Mexican/Italian/American

I am a kinda a freaking liberal, who is always aware of mad cow, GMO, Dioxyine, environmental hormone, growth hormone and stuff.

Especially for mad cow, since I know how does it affect me, I have not eaten beef for almost 2 years.

Every time I go to Outback with my girl friend, she always gets steak on purpose to seduce me to eat beef. Making slenty eyes and enjoying that butter labeled, GMO, growth hormone, fat carb rump freaks me out.

Is beef really that good? I can't recall the taste of it.

I just saw a commercial for it. I was just wondering if that only applies for the morning or all day? I know it's a limited time offer. Also, in order to get the pancakes, you need to order eggs and bacon or other...there are 3 types of meals according to the website. Does any know how much each one costs?

Also what type of cusine does this restaurant have? Price? MOST IMPORTANT, WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND FROM THE MENU.

Please no Chain establishments. I am looking for something off the beaten path. We travel a lot, and love to try out something different.

I'm not saying every server out there is wonderful; yes some are horrible, some are mediocore and others are fabolous. But, honestly, serving is one of the most difficult jobs out there. It can be very rough and discouraging.

It's just like any job. I ask those individuals that really have a problem with servers to evalute themselves in their own jobs. Are you perfect all the time? Probably not. But don't think b/c you had one or two bad experiences at a restuarant make you think all servers are bad.

Not all servers are tip hungry, rude, slow or stupid individuals; do not degrade them as such. I am a server and I am also a full time college student. So many times I have been degarded and belittled by complete strangers (one time I was even on the verge of tears)

Of course, I am a very polite, so I have to say I just take people's crap. I also have to say, I am a pretty good server (I do make good money)

Opinions?

with my dad and brother, and my dad asked the girl behind the counter that was making our sandwiches if we could pay only 8.99 for 2 footlongs it is a promotion that they have u can buy 2 footlongs for 8.99 after 5p.m when we went it was like 4 in the afternoon and my dad said well hold the sandwiches andwe'll be right backand the girl said sure if only u give a good tip. and my dad did he just gave a dollar and some change. what do u guys think about that? i work at a fast food place and i have never asked a customer to give me a tip. we arent allowed to do that anyway, but that girl did. why is it everywhere u go now u are expected to tip? i just want to know why. good opinions please! we ended up getting 2 large drinks for free and we ordered extra meat on our sandwiches, the girl didnt charge us for any of it.what do u guys think?

The franchise is apparently closed in the Rio Grande Valley. Are they being bought out? Will they be re-opening under a new name?
