i'm looking to buy some headphones for under £100,do i go wireless for convenience or do good old cables still offer the best sound quality?any suggestions greatly appreciated.

i'm looking for a pen that has voice recognition technology...
meaning i want it to convert speech into text
so when i record my voice in it, it will be able to convert it to text on computer
as well as when i write with it, it will do the same
i want it to work as USB
i don't want any special paper with it, it should be independent?
any company come out with something like that yet?
or something similar...
I hate takin notes, as im sure all of you do to...

im working on a anti theft car system and for it to work, i need what ever is recorded or is recording to be transmitted over the air from the VCR whcih will be in the stolen car to a display which the police will have to see who is in the car and where the car is. of course this is for long distances but what do i need to be able to get it to work??

Like I said I have several avi files and other video files that I down loaded to my computer I just got an external dvd r+w drive but it came with nero software that has smartstart with it but I am looking for a programe that will convert this files that will playy them in a regular dvd player with out lot of hassel is there a programe that is eather frre or that does not cost a lot of money that can do this please help someone.

I've heard of a cable or something that records video on TV and makes it a file on your computer. Where would I find such a thing? Also, if there are different things for different file types, I need Windows Media Player files. A Fullmetal Alchemist spoof is at stake! Thanks.

i was curious were i can find new and upcoming technology. i now popular science has a site(popsci.com) and also cnet but are there any other sites that have new technology, also up coming technology, rumors of new technology, leaks from top electronic companies ext.
i also if they could daily updates it would be nice so something new every day, something resent.

I work 200 meters away from my house and I'm looking for something that I can take with me to work and advice me when anybody is trying to open a window or door and also that beeps so loud that anybody around can notice that they are trying to steal. I thank you for your help

I've been pondering. If you have two 110V>>220V transformers and plug one into another, into a 120V outlet, theoretically there should be 120x2x2 = 480V. Will it work?

On the other hand, if you have two stepdown transformers and use them like the above, there should be a total output of 30V?

I got my first digital alarm clock/radio (Soundesign brand)back in 1989 when I was 16, it still works good. Do you think I should replace it just to be more up to date or should I keep it and enjoy its 80s colors? lol

boyfriend bought me a hd ready dvd the other day but i only have a bog standard dvd player and the disc wasn't recognisable. we tried to return it to asda but they said that it can't be returned if the dvd has been played in a normal player.

is this right? why can't you do this? and finally, why are they stacking the hd ready discs side by side to the normal ones without notification that they don't work on normal players?

i want to record some tracks and i need to get a mixer of some sort to plug the instruments (a acoustic guitar, a piano keyboard and as microphone) in and record to the computer......just like that.......and i am sure i cannot plug into the soundcard directly.....i was told i need a small imputs mixer or something. please help!
