A question about D.V.D. players?

Can anyone recommend a brand, model number, and price, for a D.V.D. player which neither "sticks" (pauses), nor "skips", whole sections of a movie, or show. This question assumes that the video disk is in good shape, and the problem is in the electronics.

Buy a Sony disc player.
On the other hand, I bought a $42.00 cheapy 2 years ago that still works great today.

Something this good of a quality would be hard to find. A good workaround is to get DVD backup software and burn a copy on your computer then you ca nuse a cheapy DVD player.
