I own a Sears VHS video camera/camcorder/player. My RF-converter plug (model number is: VM-RF50AS) recently broke. It plugs into the side of the camera, near the headphone jack. It is an 8-prong plug where it goes into the camera. The other end is a twin coax plug end, with an in and out to/from the camera/tv coax connection link. The plug end going into the camera (the 8-prong thing) is broken. With this plug, I can record into the coax in of my computer with media center, or play my vhs tape in my camera on a tv set with coax input on the back. Without this plug, I can still use my Sear VHS camera to record vhs tapes in the camera. Then I have to use a vcr with vhs capabilites, to play what I recorded. I can't link the camera directly to a tv, or my computer. I must have an 8 prong RF plug, with a coax male jack (actually two on other end male coax,,,one for in, one for out to tv). It is a slight in-conveiniance for me. Does anyone know where I can find such an-8 prong RF-converter?

Its pretty small, but has a lot of cosmetic imperfections. How much do you think I could get for it? Should I set a reserve price? Thanks in advance =)

Is writing in sharpie, on top of CDs and DVDs that you burn, bad for the disc? I heard from someone that it could ruin the disc, but I don't see how.

I'm not really into electronics but these new GPS Navigation things look neat. If you have I want your feedback. How often do you use it? what's it like? Where did you buy it and about how much should I plan to spend?

I1ve converted an avi movie to DVD. The disc plays on my comp. but not on my dvd player. If I convert it to MPEG and burn it with Nero would this make a difference,as I`ve heard that MPEG will play in virtually all dvd players. Thanx

all hi fi equipment is designed to have a flat frequency response so as to keep the signal as pure as possible.amplifiers and other electronic equipment can manage a very flat response(eg :10 to 50 k. hz +-0.005db) loudspeakers are harder to keep flat being an electro-mechanical device .an accurate speaker might achive say :40 to20k.hz +-2db therefore should the sound which is fairly flat to start with be altered with tone controls which will change the sound from the original flat response ?

and if the 80 is the highest bid, does it count as a best offer?

or 100 obo means he is "asking at least 100, but if someone else is willing to pay more than 100"
