I tried RadioShack and Circuit City. Any other suggestions?

Check the user manual of your receiver for a customer service phone number or search the web for their website. Have the model and serial numbers on hand. These are ways in which I've had to order spare parts for things I've been unable to find in stores.

That item is so common that there is no reason the Radio Shack does not have this item. You must have tried the wrong CrapShack.
Advance Auto or any other car parts store.
Sears in the auto section.
