of course its free. if you have any problems downloading it email me at gavisuarez92@yahoo.com and i will send you the install file. just go to http://www.limewire.com you only have to pay for pro. just get basic

It's free for Basic LimeWire. Go here: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/downloadfree2.shtml, and pick your operating system out of the list under where it says "LIMEWIRE BASIC v 4.12.1" to start your download.

Sure, there's a version you can download @ download.com, which is free, but you can buy a faster version for about 20$.
