I have all the released seasons of shows like South Park and arrested development on DVD and I don't want to pay for them again through iTunes to put them on my iPod. Is this possible to do? Is it legal? Please help; I am new to all this and could really use a SIMPLE explanation.
Thanks!

Just got a 26" HDTV and a Sony DVD player (prog scan) with HDMI connection. The player also has upscaling technology.

Having connected it up, I have noticed that the DVD quality is worse than with my original CRTV and non progressive DVD player. Why is this happening?

Fortunately, the TV has PC input. If I play the DVD's through my pc they look fine.

WHy do they look worse on my DVD player than they do on my PC?

Any ideas? Could it be the HDMI cable i bought was rubbish? Or could it be that the DVD player itself is rubbish?

I am using RCA connectors (headphone jack, 1/8" i think, converted into two male outs). I tried 'digital out' and the headphone jack as well.

Sharp has plasmacluster technology (+ & - ion) & honey comb dedorizer to kill germs, mouls & get rid of bad & fishy smell.

Mitsubishi has vitamins making factory to keep veg fresh so as

Toshiba has hybrid Plasma dedorizer doing the same function.

Then there is Hitachi w. nano titanium technology.

Yet Samsung also has nanotechnology.

Too many to choose from.
By the way 3 door fridge is better than a 2 door fridge ?

I have a DVD, and it somehow got two small spots of something sticky (probably soda?) on it. The spots are on the non-painted side. Any suggestions on how to get them off without damaging the DVD?

Thanks!
