I put songs on it and when its pluged into the computer it works but as soon as I take it out it says thare is no music found! I pluged it back into the computer and it said it was on thare.... BUT ItS NOT!!!! How in the heck do I put the stupid songs on thare without having to go to itunes?

You have to use Itunes with a Nano.

I don't think that you can use it without itunes. You need to have all of the software that came with it downloaded onto your computer and everything like that.

did u update the ipod?
its in the file menu or sumtin
or right click the pic of ure nano and it says update

you have to use itunes you cant just put them in the ipod icon
