i do no longer, while the electrician got here to learn ym electrics and he tripped the fuse field some situations inflicting the electrics to cut back out some situations... After this it made a detrimental humming noise for sort of 20 minutes, even on standby, so i grew to become it off on the wall and left it for 10 minutes then grew to become it decrease back on and now this is positive, i havn't had a similar subject lower back considering that!! wish this enables.. x

you have not said what caused your sky box to freeze,did you change channels repeatedly by using the +/- buttons,this will cause the problem if you belong to sky then use the monthly tv guide for sky contact numbers and do what other have suggested switch off mains.and then switch on again you must allow time to reboot(reset) the box automatically.

More info needed ! unplug it completely from the wall socket for about 20 seconds . see if that reset`s it ! if not you may have a problem with your box !

Turn it off at the mains, wait a bit and turn it on again. Should reset no problem. Batteries okay in the remote?

Try unplugging it from the wall for about five minutes. Plug back in and reprogram. If that doesn't take care of it, get a new one.
