I don't want to have to burn all of my Xvid and Divx videos onto DVDs, then lug the DVDs around with me. Are there any portable DVD players that have a USB port or some way to attach an external hard drive? Are there any that have hard drives on them?

Right now, the only solution that I can find is the video iPod, but I'm looking for something with a larger screen and preferably something with a power cord so that I don't have to worry about charging the battery every few hours.

OK. I own a digital camera and other gadgets that use betteries.

I've been using rechargable batteries for the past 2 years. So, here's my question;
How much does it really cost to charge rechargable batteries?
I use rechargable batteries from ENERGIZER that take about 13 hours to get a full charge.
So, I don't know; Is there any way to find this out?
My dad is always complaining about the electric bill,when he receives it, since it's well over $500.00 every month.
[I wouldn't blame him since we are always using several computer's at the same time.and have every single electronic thing on..]
SO ELECTRICITY = MONEY;

HOW MUCH ELECTRICITY DOES IT TAKE TO CHARGE NI-HM BATTERIES FOR 13 HOURS STRAIGHT, = MONEY WISE?

i just turned 19 and i got a ps3 for my birthday. Adam, my best friend, congradulated me and all that crap. he also has had a key to my house for 5 years. i thought that me getting a ps3 would make him kind of jealous. So i get home today and find that my ps3 is gone. I thought someone was playing a prank on me. I asked my twin brother about it and he said it was probably adam. I called and adam and he wouldnt pick up his phone. I left him messages and texts still nothing. A few 30 minutes ago i got a text from him saying "yea i stole it Bi*ch what are you gonna do about it?" WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT IT? IM PISSED LIKE A MOTHER F*CK*R

Is there anything that I can do to my VHS tapes to stop my V HS tapes from skipping/jumping??
I've cleaned all the heads.
All my vcr's are auto tracking and there are no settings on the vcr nor on the remote to manually manipulate anything like this. I have some unreplaceable vhs home movies(taped years ago) that I want to watch and transfer to dvd-r but they're skipping or jumping a lot if you know what i mean(bottom to top) .
This same problem occurs in all three of my modern vcrs including my new DVR . I've tried fully fast forwarding them then fully rewinding them on all 3 machines..this rarely fixes the situation.

Is there anything that I can do to the VHS tape to stop this from doing this?

Please advise. Any serious help on this matter will be appreciated.

I am thinking about getting automobile GPS system. This is for a professional person to visit a patient home (more than 3 homes a day). Voice guidance would be nice. I am not looking for the top of the line one. I am looking for a reasonable one to get a direction from one point to another.
Your recommendation by experience would be helpful and appreciated.

Mine are cracking (2nd pair) and I have lost my receipt. I don't have the moeny to replace them, and as this is the second pair that I've had exactly the same problem with I'm feeling a bit robbed at the moment.

I am leaving for the winter. The temperature gets below 0 degrees and sometimes -20. I have an outside storage shed with steel walls and roof, wood floor and no insulation. Just an average shed. I have 3 tv's, a DVD surround sound combo, and more. Can I store them in the shed without them being damaged? I have a Tahoe, I was going to put all the electronics in there because I am leaving the Tahoe here, will that work considering the weather? I can't leave them in my house! Any Ideas???

I'm looking to buy drum sticks for my 14yo son. I don't know the first thing about choices, brands, etc. Apparently they come "electronic" so you don't require the entire drum set, but can play them most anywhere. Any suggestions or ideas greatly appreciated.

I work at a school in South Carolina and we have a Gemini CD player. It stopped working a few days ago and upon looking at it, I saw that the cable that connects it from the CD to the remote control console has been badly damaged. Does anyone where I could buy another one?

i would like to get one. it would be great to put my home movies, and to tape my favorite shows.
