What is the best time to go to BestBuy (in NJ/NY area) on Black Friday? I know the store opens at 5am, and they said a line forms at 4am. But what time should I actually go there if I wanna get a hot item like a laptop?... preferably someone who's done this before successfully, please answer

If, say, a kettle is plugged into a socket and the socket is on but the kettle itself is not on, is there a small amount of electricity flowing around the kettle anyway?

Pls give ,me some idea , actually I don’t know nothing about air-conditions. One of my friends told me , Air condition working with the support of gas inside , It have the chances of leakage .
And even some death cases happen while they are sleeping
Dose anybody knows the incidents happen by air-condition gas leak

I have a motorola 220. I dropped it and I can't get a screen up. People can call me and I can call out, if I remember the number, as I can not seen my ph book. I took it to cingular and I have to pay another 50.00 and lose my insurance, because I dropped my phone twice in a 12 month period. I have to return this phone, when I get another reconditioned phone. But I don't want to lose my pictures if it can be saved somehow. Is there a way to save them? Thank you

I lived in Georgia (the country) and I made some tapes with my friends, but for some reason, none of the tapes will play on an American VCR, so i want to convert them into DVDs so i can watch them. I know that it's not gonna be free, but is there somewhere I can go to to have this done, and is not too expensive? Please only answer if you actually know something...Thanks in advance...

Okay, i really hate to lose points by having to ask a question here (i usually just answer) but i am D E S P E R A T E! I'm looking for an off-road, battery-powered, Jeep-style RC vehicle. A friend of mine has one, and says he got it from Wal-Mart, but i looked there today and cant find anything even remotely like it! I'll describe it as best as i can: first off, its body is orange and there is some blue on it as well but not much, im not sure what size it is (like 1/32, 1/16, etc...) but its decently big. The specs that i know of are these: it has 'lockers' in the front and rear axles, some type of 'off road' suspension, and grippy 'mud' tires. It moves along at a pretty good clip, can be driven in reverse as well as drive, my friends can climb just about anything you want it to. and if it rolls over onto its side, it rights itself pretty easily. i am just so desparate to get a couple of these to share with my friends. btw, there is a smaller scale 1 also (another friend has one) HELP

My friend told me that I should use DVD-R instead of DVD+R because DVD-R is compatible with most DVD players.

Any other suggestions or ideas?

*My DVD player is a JVC HR-XVC20U
*I burned the DVD using Nero 7.

Every time i talk on my home phone after exactly 10 minutes into my conversations, i hear a loud click like someone hung up on the other end every time. Does that mean my phone is tapped? If so, y the hell would someone tap it and y would they make it so obvious?

I listened to the songs for like half an hour and then i took out my sd memory card for like 2 seconds and when I put it back in, all my songs were gone!! Is this weird or what??? i"m so annoyed!!
