If you contact somone like Age Concern you should be able to find this information out - otherwise you could start with a phone call to your Dr or local council. Good luck.

I would suggest you contact Age Concern, they can be very helpful, or your local council, or doctor. Phone companies also provide this kind of service.

Please do not pay a lot of money to the first company to offer you this service, as it should be provided free of charge.

I am a carer for my elderly parents ( late 80s ) and have had the same problem. There is plenty of help available, but you need to look around.

If they receive help from social services, such as care workers, contact them and explain your concerns with regard to an emergency alarm.

Sorry I can not help you more, but hope the above will assist you.

All the best, and hope you get sorted.

You rent them from the council or local age concern - great things but only if you can convince your parents to wear them ALL of the time, including garden and house, not just leave them by the bed...

If you're in UK, contact Social services and get a lifeline for them. They're marvellous things. It consists of a red button they can wear around their neck which they can press when in trouble.
