Music & Music Players - March 2007

I want to record several days of presentations that will be broadcast over FM and at the end of the day download to a hard drive or other media for safekeeping so the mp3 player is empty & available for the next day. I don't want to take my laptop with me.

I am using Windows XP SP2. I have 3 Questions:
1. Can i Use Ipod 80GB on Win Xp?
2. On 5th Generation, there is no CD, so do i need CD to configure it on Win PC?
3. Can i Use it as External Hard Drive on Windowns XP?

Hey guys, whenever i connect my ipod to my laptop via the USB cord, nothing actually happens!! Lol. I don't even know what's actually supposed to happen or where i'm supposed to go. I have downloaded itunes. Thanks in advance!

when i plug it in it says unknown device the mp3 player is not showing in the computer but twice i have plugged it in and it has charged up and accepted songs on it but as soon as i take it out of the computer it goes off and will not turn on anyone with ideas let me know as the mp3 player cost me 80 pound thanks

ihere no sound when i try to play video file's with youtube and all other flash media ,
but mp3 ,video avi mpeg ..etc saved on my computer all work fine however occasionally i have to restart my computer when all sound goes mute but restarting fixes it but not with flash media .
i have just downloaded adobe macromedia flash player hoping it would fix the problem but still nothing,
.any ideas

I'd like to create music of my own. Period. But I'm not really a good composer (in any way)... Not really good with the melody of notes or anything. Anyway, my classmate made this cool song and he said he (and his friend) made it with a program. I asked him what it was but it was for Mac. so i want to get one that has a screen. duh. hahahaa
well yeahh what should i get? i dont care what the price is.
in my case the price is not a problem. so the quality is more important.

I don't know if it will work, it got stolen at school, i never went to the police and i've had it longer than the 90 day warrenty thing and i never bought that apple plan thing to help. so i dont know if it'll even work. does anyone think apple will replace it? help? please.

i have no idea. i thought you just synced them over on windows media player and they would go in by themselves, but obviously not. it came with a disk too but the cd just installs a jukebox and an updater. i need help.

my cd player wont read my cd and it displays and error message. it wont spin the cd (when it reads it) and i cant hear the laser reading the disk (normally it makes a little winding noise) can anyone help?
