This is a very broad question. Are you having trouble putting songs onto ur nano or do u just want to know how do download songs period?

Download iTunes onto your computer. Add songs to iTunes. Plug your Nano into your computer with the USB cord, and iTunes should sync up with it and upload everything in it to the Nano.

go to Apple.com and download Itunes & Quicktime and should give you instructions from there.
