Using Ipod on Windows XP?

Hi,
I am using Windows XP SP2. I have 3 Questions:
1. Can i Use Ipod 80GB on Win Xp?
2. On 5th Generation, there is no CD, so do i need CD to configure it on Win PC?
3. Can i Use it as External Hard Drive on Windowns XP?

1. yes, you can use it on windows xp
2. You have to download itunes here: http://www.apple.com/itunes
3. Yes you can use it like an external harddrive for your pc and you can store your contacts, notes and other things on your ipod.
