how can i delete pictures that accidently got put into the ipod? and how can i transfer a music video into my ipod that's played by windows media player?

The window did flash momentarily 'disc' and full battery icon. Hold button is something you turn, all the rest, you press. On one side is button with icons that look like forward and back and right below it are the letters chg with an arrow down. There's a volume button. I attached the headphones. I pushed each button. Why doesn't the 'play mode' play? And what is the hold gizmo for?

I am trying to update my library onto my Ipod NANO. (2gb).
It will only update less than 1gb of songs. Then when I put it back onto the dock to update it for more songs, it says
"ERROR - Attempting to copy to the disk MELS IPOD has failed. The disk can not be read from or saved to".
What do I do so this doesn't happen? ALSO it wont update my Ipod up to its full 2gb. How do I use the capacity memory on the Ipod? I don't have any pictures or anything saved on there, I just bought it a few weeks ago. I have about 100 songs on there so far, then it just came up with an error message and wont let me add any more songs... Thanks!

I have a 2gb ipod nano, and when i go on i tunes there are 113 songs in my libry and it is around 650 mb, but when i click on the ipod tab where iot says all the songs i have on it, at the bottom where the memery bar is it is allmost full. So the songs are only around 650mb an it's a 2gb memory, why is it almost full?

What is the best mp3 player that's no more than $75, something that's good for hiking with, perhaps maybe a little running/jogging, and probably bowling, which I know isn't a real physical sport so it doesn't really matter if i just said that or not. I would like it if it was fairly small, not longer than a pencil so that I could ahve it in my pocket. I hope it's durable. And if you have had it and it's been good to you, would you mind writing a review about all its features and pros/cons (like sound quality, durability, y'know) and maybe some tips? Thanks in advance.

okay... my sister just sold me her ipod and my computer recently had to get everything deleted off of it. it deleted the itunes, and when i tried to re-install it, the agreements thing comes up and if you click agree it will just say, " the itunes application could not be opened. an unknown error occured. (-50) " what does that mean? and do i download itunes again?

Once3 I bought my video iPOD 30GB, I downloaded an old version of itunes I had on my computer previously... I then tried to download the current version and now the iPOD is non-functional. It turns on but when I select a song the iPOD starts scrolling all on its own through the entire playlist and no song actually plays! Please someone help.... electronically frustrated!

The part where it turns the CD's is stuck and I dont know why. I have been trying to see if something is stuck under it but theres nothing. The CD's that I put in it jsut refuse to turn.

I need some new for my itunes. and since i like rock music,that is waht i need. I don't want any 80's rock band please. i need some music like LINKIN park and evanescence. Oh and panic at the disco. My Ipod has been giving me real trouble ever sice I bought it. And the other day I dropped it on to concrete (Whoops) and now the hard drive just makes a horrible grinding noise and thes screen shows a sad ipod face.

I have opened up the ipod (warranty void now) but it looks like I may have to open up the hard drive itself to see the problem.

Any better ideas?

i have an ipod video and i have music on it. And i understand how to do so but what i dont get is how to convert wma files to regular files that are compatible with my ipod!
