I got an ipod from my sister, Alicia ( an ipod mini), It was called ALICIA'S IPOD, so I changed it to HANNAH'S IPOD and added 4 songs, after I changed the name, all 359 songs of her's were gone and only my 4 were left. What happened and is there anyway to get them back?

I just bought an iPod to replace my Dell DJ (very good product but it was time for an upgrade). I don't know what to do with my Dell DJ now, can I donate it? Is there somewhere to sell it? The battery is a little worn but it is in excellent condition otherwise.

I have recorded some songs on a rewritable CD. If I want to add more songs to that CD, do I have to re-record the songs I already have on there or will the new songs just be added to end of the songs already on the CD? I do all this on my computer.

there are so many other options out there. some costs cheaper with more memory too. it may not look as nice but a music player is a music player, right? also, a lot of personal electronics such as cell phones and a PSP could play music too. so just curious, does anybody believe that iPODs aren't as widely preferred or popular anymore? express any opinions of it!

Nearly 1 in 5 Americans own an iPod (or similar brand). They can be listened to at 100dB. This is loud enough to cause permanent hearing loss with regular use.

Asking because noise cancellation headphones advertise the dB of blockage they offer. I don't wanna spend the extra $150 bucks on a $300 pair with 20 dB if the $150 pair with 12 dB of blockage will be sufficient.

I have a mini ipod, and for some reason I have to charge it for like 4 hours at a time, and then even on a "full" charge, it dies after about 30 minutes of use. I have a new video ipod and that thing runs for DAYS on a single charge.... What is up??
