How much music/video will a 1GB chip store in an ipod???

Not much--about 240 songs. Video? The the only iPods that Apple makes that come in 1GB amounts (iPod shuffle, iPod nano) don't play video.

around 250 songs or about 1 full movie if it plays video

1 gig will hold around 750 songs but I am not sure about the video.
