Asking because noise cancellation headphones advertise the dB of blockage they offer. I don't wanna spend the extra $150 bucks on a $300 pair with 20 dB if the $150 pair with 12 dB of blockage will be sufficient.

I don't know what the figures are but the noise at the front of a jet liner is much less than the noise further aft.

Perhaps a travel agent has access to figures.

You might get lucky with a Google search too.
