Yes, All that the 48x means is that the DVD/CD Burner will only burn up to 48x. With the CD's 52x, that means that it can be burned at up to 52x, but no more than that. For instance, you could have an 8x (really old tech, but lets just say), and burn a 52x CD. You would not be burning it at 52x, but at the CD's 8x.

yes it will but only up to 48x what 52x means is that is the fastest the disc can handle

yes 52x is the maximum speed it will burn it at i would suggest to burn at 52 i heard aLOT of rumeors that 52x can sometimes not burn correctky i
