Can anyone tell me which phone company have a good prices for the phone services and internet I have SBC and they prices are to high.So please help

I have telephone preference service already, but this does not block all silent calls especially foreign ones.
Call rejection costs upto £4 a month which is annoying since these people are abusing the phone system.
I have heard the following works (To switch the service on, key *227#, cancel it with #227# or check it with *#227#) but does this mean you have to be a BT customer and have bought into their package?

Verizon refuses to remove the charge because they claim it was direct dialled. Neither my wife nor I made it. The call was made to Guatemala 7/16 at 11:41pm (from my bill) and cost almost $300.00 for 64 minutes. Any help would be appreciated.

My ex got an attorney who contacted me saying that my ex didn't have a phone number for me or my son and wasn't able to contact us when, in fact, he has called us. How do I obtain those phone records to show his phone number in black & white and the date/time of the call?

I tried a new battery but that wasn't the problem. When I plug the phone in I see the charge light for a split second then it's off so I know it's not charging. I did try charging it even with the charge light off but it is just not happening.

Cell phone companies give caller ID for free. Why do land line companies charge up to $6 a month for the service? I remember when phone companies charged extra for touch tone service. Do you think caller ID will ever be free?

We had a lightning storm and it knocked our phone out for a couple days. The phone company fixed the phone so it would work but now it is all crackly all the time. they want $300 to come into my home to fix it. What would cause it to do this? I can fix it myself (I have electrical background) if I know what would cause it.
