It could be a busy signal. It is heard when someone is on the phone or sometimes on the internet (dial up). Hope that helps.

Maybe the phone company is working on the line somewhere in your area. Try calling them to find out, from someone Else's phone obviously. Ask the neighbors if they have the same problem.

It sounds like you are calling the Hansons ( Music group known for the song Um bop) but call your local phone company it sounds like someone has crossed ypour line possibly due to construction around you.

You're getting re-order tone. This could be the result of circuits being busy, an unassigned number being dialled, or telephone central office equipment problems.

Is it a Landline, or Cell phone. It could be a Calltone, that the Phone companys have these days.
