I'm sure i've seen it done on a BT advert

BT are doing a service which is free to receive (will still cost you your usual text price) - just send a text message to a landline and it will be read out when the person picks up the phone.

Just send a text as normal and put in the land line number, it will do the rest automatically

not sure about thru the web but u can thru your mobile, just send to a landline no & it will be transferred to a voice message.

Yeah they have that for deaf people.
