why would anyone set their phone to the pulse setting? It takes 30 minutes just to dial a number? Why do phones even have that option?

someone keeps phoning me and when i answer they put the reciver down.i know the no ,as it comes up on my caller display. i dont want to phone this person as it could be a nuicance call.is there any way i can find out please i am in the uk.thanks

I bought a new HP premium home vista.I'm having trouble getting the internet only when I start. It takes me 4 to 5x to get it.I checked diagnose connection problems & that is what comes up.It tells me LSP is outdated. Is this my PC problem or ATT&T?

Can i find out the last person who called me/ i dont have caller id on my phone, my hand held had broke!! I know in uk i can just call 1471 and it will tell me but i am usa now.

I have been getting calls at my house (land line) and people have been hanging up. My retarded boyfriend thinks that means that i am cheating and its whoevet this mystery man i am cheating with who has been calling. The problem is that i have NO CLUE who it could be. THe caller id usually says out of area or private caller. Is there any way to trace these calls? I called the phone company (MCI) and was told that there is nothing that can be done...any suggestions?

When the Do Not Call List comes in in May, we are being encouraged to give our mobile phone numbers as well as landline numbers. Will this not give the government more information on us than they should have? Do we want them knowing our mobile numbers?

I received a long distance phone call (no message left) from a 192 number - I've never heard of this area code. I tried to dial the number later to see who it was - but it just gived me a fast sounding busy signal back - what doesn this mean? How can I find out? (I saved the number)
