All UK Landlines have a 5 digit area code starting with 01 apart from London 020, Southampton/Portsmouth 023 Cardiff 029 and Northern Ireland 028. The businesses/helplines etc etc are 08. All mobiles start with 07.

i have found the best way to phone russia is in the evening but do remember the time difference
some phone companies set a one off payment such as 20p per hour
this is good as i phone russia quite often as well as south africa
best thing to do is research companies for the best deal
alternatively get them to phone you they normally get their mobiles via the company they work for and it is a perk of the job but this is dependent on their position in their place of work
