There is no way to bypass a block on your phone. I purposely put one on my phone, because I wanted to make sure that the phone company was not charging me for calls that I didn't make. Now, I purchase phone cards from Dollar Tree (this card does not cheat you like most other cards) for $1.00, or use my cell phone.

In South Africa it works like this ..... The telephone company puts a block on your line and its ben done inside the Exchange from where your line is working.... So even if you unplug the phone and put another one in, it wont work.
But with the Block call comes an secret Pin code..... if you have it or the owner of the Phone gives it to you ... you can make call.
The other thing about block Call ...there is ten numbers that you can ask the Telephone Co. to put in beforehand and you can dial those numbers without the pin code ...like the mother or fathers home telephone number and the kids can phone them ..but other numbers are still blocked.
So ask the owner to include numbers you frequently dial.

Not that I am aware of. The block is put in place in the phone companies computer.
If you can do 1-800 numbers, use a calling card, that should get you long distance.
