what is layered service provider (LSP)?

I bought a new HP premium home vista.I'm having trouble getting the internet only when I start. It takes me 4 to 5x to get it.I checked diagnose connection problems & that is what comes up.It tells me LSP is outdated. Is this my PC problem or ATT&T?

Its your label switched path.

Call the Internet company. They will know what to do. I uses to have AT&T but it gave me problems on my computer so I use verizion.
