Use something wooden to remove it from the water. Wood doesn't conduct electricity, so you won't get shocked.
Or, you could use the wood to pull the plug on the sink, then just wait for there to be no water.

If its a cordless you should have to worry about being shocked, any of the electronics should have discharged once it hit the water. Even if you get shocked its nothing dangerous, maybe a 100 V or so from a capacitor, but thats unlikely you sill get shocked by internal components.

There is not enough voltage in there to do you any harm, however, that phone is probably shot. Fish it out and take out the battery. Shake out any water. Then leave it vertical with the battery end down and let the water drain for a couple of days. It may eventually dry out but chances are you shorted the battery. My advise would be to go to Radio Shack and buy a new one. A replacement battery can cost about $15.00 and you can get a new phone on sale for about $30 or less depending on the features. Good luck!

It's a cordless so there isn't much juice in the phone! It only has batteries which can't cause you any harm.
How did it fall in, did you drop it when you tripped over the cord?

It shouldn't shock you, just grab it, but if u stilla re afraid, try getting a bunch of towels to soak up the water, or find something that you can stick in there and grap it with like a little dinosaur thing if u ahve kids!

why don't you just disconnect the phone plug from the wall? its been underwater long enough for you to go type this up and think about it. so im sure there's not much hope for it left anyways.
