it was the cordless house phone, and i was wondering if there was anyway that i can fix it, or if i would just have to go out and buy a whole new phone.

well, the other bad thing is, my parents just bought the phone new a few weeks ago.....and Im kindof hoping i can fix it without them having to know.....

Take a hair dryer and try drying it, you may have to let it air out a couple days, then check to see if it is working.

Don't feel stupid, did you know that a phone dropped in the toilet is the #1 reason for replacement?
Try the blow dryer and give it a couple days, if it doesn't work no worries...technology changes so fast it's probably time to replace it anyways.

Usually they eventually dry out and start to work again. shake as much water out as you can. take a blow dryer to it. don't try to use it yet; let it sit over night, then try to use it. If its not working in 2 days then you might need to buy another phone

completely open the phone, take out the battery, let it dry for a couple of days. before replacing battery rub contacats with an eraser. should work if it does not you have to get another one.

heavily, you're you place that telephone in the lavatory on objective. As in any concern, be trouble-free, together with her, and get her a sparkling telephone. Stick it in a bag of rice for some days it might dry out.

my friend did that and fried her battery
but try drying the battery out and see if it comes back to life
