One reason that I chose the Canon camera over others was the fact that I have a 100-300 Canon lens from a film camera. However, when I take pictures with this lens they appear to be soft or there appears to be a fog compared with the lens that came with the camera. The lens is a 100-300 4.5-5.6 with a Rokunar UV filter on it. Any suggestions that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

On my last vacation, I was changing the batteries constantly and I was using the ones for diginal devices. I really don't want to invest in a new camera right now, but neither do I want to carry a wangonfull of batteries. I saw a duracell rechargeable who said it took up to 4x more pictures. Any experiences to share?

I have been looking to buy a digital camera, but I would like to try and find one that has an instant flash. All the cameras I have found have a delayed flash, and I am curious to know if there is one out there that doesn't do this. Can anyone give me any info on this?

What's the difference between SanDisk's Ultra II Series and the normal ones ?

I know it's Write Speed is 9mb/sec and Read Speed is 10mb/sec. But is it really that necessary ? Are the improvements even noticeable ? Should I buy it over a normal one ?

I'm getting a Canon Powershot SD600 (6 MegaPixels) and I'm planning on buying either a:

SanDisk 1Gb SD Card
SanDisk 2Gb SD Card
SanDisk Ultra II 1Gb Card

I have a Canon EOS IX Slr camera, with 24 to 85mm lens it uses APS or Advantix films instead of conventional films, it was revolutionary at its time until the emergence of the DLSR, i bought it for sentimental reasons and its ease of use, i also have a Canon Speedlight 430ez flash.. here is my problem now im thinking of buying a DLSR im choosing either a Nikon D70 or Canon 350d or 400d, but im leaning towards a Canon, so i currently have 2 SLR a Nikon F80 with Tamron 24 to 200mm lens and Nikon SB-25 flash, and the Canon EOS IX with 24 to 80mm lens and Canon Speedlight 430ez, if i will buy a DLSR, one of my SLR will go, i will sell, which would i sell, one would be my backup SLR. OR shouldf i just keep it because its useful and it wouldnt be that large sum of money if i sell it. If i sell shall i sell the whole line or just the camera body, the lens or the flash. If i go DIGITAL would my existing flash be fully compatible or need to be sold and be replaced as well.. in a bdget

I'm going to this concert. They won't let us take a camera, I have a digital camera and I know it will get detected If I take it. I want to sneak in the camera somehow, and an extra battery in case they find the camera. I would just tell them to take away the battery, leave me the camera but have a back up battery. Would that work?

I want something that will let me take several shots in a row quickly without missing a beat. My 35 mm camera needs time in between each shot before I can take another right away. What should I look for when I go out shopping for one?

I am looking into camera's to do what I have dreamed of doing for years. I see wonderful idea's for pictures that my tourist like digital camera just doesn't capture. I need something very User Friendly (am willing to learn for camera's that are border line into slight difficulty). It would also be a plus If I could print the pictures at home on my printer. I am not looking for anything that requires a dark room. I appreciate any advice and info I could get.
