the camera im using is a C-5000 Cimedia olympus pic like when i put the camera lens facing mirror and i turn flash off but i cant seem to get myself in the pic though

Unless you're a vampire, there is a way! Set up your camera on a tripod. Turn up the room lights. Set your camera on self-timer, and get in front of the mirror. Check your image to see if you are in it. If not, readjust the camera, tripod, or yourself and keep trying until you are in the picture. Patience and persistence is the key!

u need better lighting. with proper lighting, you will be able to see yourself in the pic without having to use the flash.

turn off the flash or cover the flash with something black or add some extra light.
