I'm going to this concert. They won't let us take a camera, I have a digital camera and I know it will get detected If I take it. I want to sneak in the camera somehow, and an extra battery in case they find the camera. I would just tell them to take away the battery, leave me the camera but have a back up battery. Would that work?

Digital camera's batteries are either NiHM, Li-ion, Titanium, Lithium...etc. And they all have one thing in common, they're all metal. Therefore, as long as the metal detector can detec metal, any kind of battery will be detected.
