I am looking for one of those digital manual cameras, except with video too. I cureently have a digital with video, but I really want a nice quality manual, so I thought why not get a camera with both? Any one know where i could get a nice one?

I dont want a super expensive camera but I do need something thats actually good and reliable so, what is more importat to have more pixels or more zoom ? Also something thats antishake to avoid blurry or moved pics.. Anything good in mind or that i could go for ? and the best brands ? Sony, Nikon or Canon ?

Why's my camera telling me that my memory is full? I only took 10 pics.

I want to purchase a digital camera and I am looking to purchase Sony DSC S500. The specifications of the camera are 2.4” LCD screen, 3X Optical Zoom, 6X Digital Zoom and 6 mega pixels picture quality. I am also looking to get 1GB Memory card. All this is going to cost me $282. Should I purchase it as the use is just domestic? Just to take family photos and not the professional ones. Thank you

I used a card reader to upload pix to my computer, and the next time I put it in my Canon A70, display read "memory card error". Back in the card reader, computer says there's an "I / O error". Camera works fine with another card. Any hope for the "bad" card?

I am considering these 2 cameras. K-M 7D is 6.1pixels. Sony Alpha is 10.8, however, pixels beyond 6mp might be overkill. I rarely enlarge past 8x10. Does anyone have either camera? Can you tell me pros and cons? I like the features and rugged look of the 7D. The Sony is light, but I wonder about dropability.

ok, sony a100 has nt satisfied me to the 700£ extend I wished , but I got all the minolta lenses and other minolta-sony stuff.
I was just asking if anyone knows when the next model will be out, any specs, any price range, dates, etc

I ve been searching a bit but nothing official. after all it is only 6 months after a100's release and people have to realise what a bad choice it is before moving to the next!!
only reason I bought it was the minolta legacy, improved antishake and sony's guarantee for quality electronics. I think I will be selling it through ebay anytime now.

I want a good camera that I could use for a bit of photography. It has to be a nikon with the dial and at least 5 mega bits or so. And the camera has to look cool. Any suggestions?
