Looking for this exact little blue plastic webcam stand.

I don't know who makes it. Looked all over it with a magnifying glass for any kind of logo or name -- no luck.

The auction sites have a zillion "mini tripods", but I don't want a wobbly little tripod, just a simple swiveling stand.

It is a little less than 3 inches across, see picture on photobucket:

So I'm considering purchasing a Canon Rebel Xti (body only) and getting a Canon 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 lens instead of the kit lens. This would be my first DSLR and I'm very much a novice to photography so I need some advice. Is this a good starter everyday lens? There are so many to choose from - it's hard to tell the difference between them all. I'd like to stay around $200 to $300 for the lens. Eventually I'd like a teleohoto but not yet.

i'm lokking for a digital camera that's around $200 or less. I would like 5 mega pixels or more, and I would like the camera to be very slim (so i can stick it in my purse or pocket). I want one with a rechargable batery. I will most likely get it from Walmart, Target, or Bestbuy. Any suggestions for a camera that meets my criteria? or any ideas on what else i need to look at?

I've looked at the Sony cybershot DSC-H2 with 12x opt. zoom. I don't understand the whole memory stick idea though. I have a Kodak easy share with 5x optical, but I want something better. If I get that camera can I not use the same memory cards? I just want a camera where i can zoom down on the field and get some great shots! Any help is appreciated!

I received a most wonderful gift for christmas of a digital camera. This camera has worked very hard for me, but, the memory card has suddenly gone " ka putt". Says there is only memory for 3 pics. There is no information about the card in my Camera handbook, & the internet just wants to tell me where & for how much I can get another. LOL, help! I need to know what went wrong before I get another. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

I'm interested in knowing if a CCD sensor is better than a CMOS, I have read that CMOS downloads image data faster at the cost of quality. is that true? is a CCD that much slower to make it inferior to a CCD?

For example, pretend there's a Sony digital camera, that has 10 megapixels. And A Casio, Canon, etc., that has 10 megapixels, also. Do they all have 10 megapixels and have the exact same good quality, or are there some slight or big differences? I hope I'm not being too confusing.

I need a lot of opinions, because that helps me see which one is better. Not a few will do. Please include why one is better than the other, too. Thanks!

I am thinking about buying a Canon Digital Rebel XT. The one I am looking at comes with a EF-S 18-55mm lens. I took a photography class in college about 5 years ago but I really am drawing a blank of well, about everything. Besides, all of my work there was in film though this does seem quite a bit similar. From some things I have read, there is a difference between digital mm measurements and regular 35mm print film measurements. Can someone please explain to me what DIGITAL lenses would be good for what kinds of use? And this may be a dumb question but would my Canon Rebel EOS 35mm lenses interchange with this digital Rebel? Gee would be spectacular if it would but I'm guessing no. Thanks for all the help I'm trying to blow the dust off off of my brain.

I'm new to photography so please bear with me. I've seen HDR used quite a few times on sites like Flickr. I would love to learn how to use this but don't know what it is or how I use it with my camera.

It says on camera I can get an 8X10 at 6M,a 5X7 at 3M print etc. When I shot 35mm slides I always bought 25 asa, or 50 asa, and shot in bright sunlight figuring slow speed film + bright light would nearly guarantee me an excellent 8X10 and even 11X14 print. So why not leave digital camera at 6M? Camera is 6 megapixels and memory card is M2G.

I have a fantastic Nikon, but it is large and cumbersome. I want something that still takes good quality photos, but it smaller and simpler. I am also looking for one with geotag capabilities.

If someone could list like a camera that they own or have used, etc. that is nice, compact, reliable that would be awesome, or if they know of a device that I could maybe use with a camera for geotagging

I bought Canon EOS 20D with the basic kit lense. I would like to buy a cheapo (up to $500) lense for wild life photography. This Tamron lense caught my eye after reading Amazon.com reviews.
