I have a fantastic Nikon, but it is large and cumbersome. I want something that still takes good quality photos, but it smaller and simpler. I am also looking for one with geotag capabilities.

If someone could list like a camera that they own or have used, etc. that is nice, compact, reliable that would be awesome, or if they know of a device that I could maybe use with a camera for geotagging

If you don't mind the hastle, get any gps device and sort things out on your computer. Here are some software solutions:

The obvious advantages are that you'd have a single solution for your dSLR and your point & shoot, and that you're free to select any camera.
I've been taking a hard look at the Fujifilm F30 / F31 to supplement my D200. This is just an average point & shoot in decent light, but it rocks in low light situations. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/fujifilmf30/page16.asp
(The way I see it, nights on the town are when I'd want to leave the camera bag in a hotel room...)
An easyer way to go, is Sony's GPS-CS1 ($150) which works with pretty much all new Sony cameras. http://news.sel.sony.com/en/press_room/consumer/digital_imaging/release/23993.html
The thing is, I can't find a Sony camera that I like.
