Most digital cameras come with a memory card, but it's a low capacity one. Just buy the same kind, with more memory. I recommend at least 1gb.

Read the manual. Go to that company's web site and get one if you don't have it or the box. If worse comes to worse, just take it to the local electronics store or photo store and ask them to sell you a memory card for that camera, and let them look at the camera.

The box tells you, usually Kodak, Canon, HP use SD memory card. Fujifilm and Olympus usually use XD memory card which are more expensive.

If you're asking what kind (brand wise), it should tell you in your user manaul for your camera.
If you're asking what size you should get (256MB, 1 gb, etc..) you need to consider about how many pictures you take. If you don't take much 256 is enough. The less megapixels and/or resolution it's set at the more it can hold.

usually it's marked onthe camera, or the packaging of the camera. Worst case cenario go to cnet.com to read the reviews and find out what card type to use.
