Why's my camera telling me that my memory is full? I only took 10 pics.
How do you install the memory ? i mean what do you do with the chip? because when i try to move the pics to memory it tells me that no memory has been installed yet.

A lot of cameras have a tiny bit of storage memory built in. 10 pictures sounds about right. To take more pictures at a time, you'll have to insert an extra memory card. If you take your camera to an electronics shop or a camera store, they can tell you what kind of card your camera needs. (It should cost between $20 and $35). After that, read your instruction book on how to get the pictures on to your computer.

Download the pictures on it to your PC, after you have verified that they are there, delete from the camera, fresh memory. There are usually extra memory chips that you can purchase, your default in camera memory is set at 10 photoes. I think. Or its some mb amount that allowed you to take those 10 pictures, anyways, you can get an Add On Memory Card for most all digital cameras. Just save the ones that are one there so you learn how that works. And keep snapping!

It depends on what type of camera you have but sometimes you may have a bad memory card or just the wrong type. Go on the website for the camera and look up memory cards to see if you do have the correct card. When it is installed it should ask you to move pictures to card or leave on camera. Most cards when purchased will tell you based on your camera size how many pictures you get with that card.

You can decrease the size of the photos , go to the menu on your camera and select image size or quality , change to a smaller size and less quality this uses a lot less memory and will allow many more photos , if you use large er image sizes you can not get it all on your screen anyway , and if you are sending email photos a lower quality picture will allow more photos to be sent too
