My best friend has been in search of how to do this for years. I think she would even buy a new camera if she knew it was capable of this function! Is there a way to blur using a non SLR digital camera? What type of camera would be the best for this effect? (preferably the least expensive option) Thanks!

So I bought an SD memory card off ebay. It is 2 gig; the brand is Blue Memo? Anyways I go and put it in my camera. The following message appears and won't let me do anything. "Memory Card Error Please Check The Card" I finally got it to work for about four pictures and now it is doing the same thing again. It won't let me see my four pictures or do anything else. My mom has a different brand camera that also uses an SD. When we put the memory card in her camera it says Memory full, but we try to review the pictures and the screen is black. Please somebody help me!!!!!

I just bought a Vivitar Digital Camera and I got Energizer batteries to put inside of it. Well each time the batteries I put in died in 3 minutes. Some even died in 20 seconds. This is the same with all batteries. Why is my camera doing this? (The batteries that came with the camera also died in like 7 minutes)

I work as a reporter, and I am working on a photo story in the indian reservation of Machupanigra. The problem is that every time I take a picture of a native american, their soul is sucked out of their bodies and stored on the camera's memory card. How do I prevent this? They take up way too much room.

For example, if I have a 400mm focal length lens for a 35mm camera, can that translate to a magnification level? Most people that aren't familiar with optics or photography ask me what kind of lens I have.... when I tell them it's a 400mm they just kind of look back with a blank stare. I think they would understand better if I could them it was a 10x or 12x or something like that.

I'm a entry level independant photographer and I like talking to people about my work to generate possible intrest in doing work for them, and I just want to be able to put things in laymen's terms for them.

It seams like most manufacturers have 12 optic zoom like the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50 or the Sony DSC-H5. But when will they make a camera with (16*) optic zoom or more?

I don't get it! Is it cause I have a positive perception of myself, or cause the camera catches more angles than the mirror? Thats what my sister told me. Also I do realise that the mirror is an opposite view of yourself, so that must have something to do with it...help!

Brand names, specific kinds, whatever. I really want a camera, but I don't want to spend too much on it. My definition of cheap for a digital camera is preferably under 100, but overall under 150. If you could post me a link with a pic of it(like from Amazon.com or something) that'd be cool. Yep, thanks in advance.
