i have a Olympus Camedia, C-60 zoom, after downloading all of the photos, how do i delete them in one swoop, instead of one at a time, i know it can be done, i did it once but cant remember, and i have no instruction book, it was my fathers, but he died a few mths ago, and i couldnt find it when i sorted out his stuff

You need to select MODE MENU --->CARD ------> CARD SETUP .
that's where the ALL ERASE IS .If you want your cameras user manual just click link below .

I do not have a C-60 but usually there is a "Format Card" option in the menu on the camera. You will need to look for it.

Another thing to do is to stick the memory card into a card reader. Through Windows Explorer go into the folder that contains all the pohtos, select all and delete the files.

If your camera connects to the computer via USB and you see the camera as a drive, you can do the above anyway.

Windows based systems treat your camera's memory card as just another drive. With your camera connected to your computer, open up the My Computer icon. Double click the drive that represents your camera. Under the edit menu, choose select all (or simply select which photos you want to delete, manually). Right click on the group of highlighted photos and choose delete.

When you delete one picture it will normally ask you if you want to delete all or of course you may have to do it one at a time the other way if you copy it on to your computer through Microsoft it will normally once they are all on your computer give you the option to delete all pictures from the source IE the camera

If you're downloading onto a PC using the Windows Picture Wizard, whatever it's called, you are given the option to delete all pictures from the camera after downloading. There's a box to tick when you're choosing which pictures to download. I find this the quickest way of doing this.

try going to the olympus website or the website of the photo imaging software your using - since im not sure where you want to delete images from - the camera or the computer

Press the menue button and there should be a 'delete all' button. if not, try pressing the normal delete botton and there may be an extended option to 'delete all'. as is on my Canon

most digital camera have a menu button. you can usually erase all photo on your camera by pressing that.

try to delete a photo and it will ask you whether you want to delete this frame only or all frames
