I'm looking for a slim digital camera like CASIO EX-S500 with the option to print a date stamp on the pictures. It does not have to be CASIO, some other brands but compact size.
Thank you in advance!

I have a Nikon Coolpix P2 when I take shots indoors it's really dark. Outside my pictures are perfect. I have read a few books on the subject but I can't see to get it to work right. Is there a setting you can suggest that might increase the light that hits the sensors or somthing for indoors only?

Has anyone else had this problem with Nikons'?

Under $500 dollars. More than 5 pixels. I just want to take really sharp bright pictures. i always go on flickr.com and search random things and some pictures look so good, so bright, and detailed. I want it to be compact or ultra compact, with a LCD. I want to take pictures that look just as good as this pic or even better ---> http://flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=168911485&size=l
I want a camera small enough to were I can stick them in jeans and avoid the tourist look, but I also don't want too slim. I have also been searching around about the Canon powershot SD700, is that a good camera?

About 2 years ago my flashcard was formatted by mistake, and I wasn't aware of any file-retrieving software back then. I went on to use the camera occasionally. Now that I've come across some of these programs, and tried them, the best they offer is a retrieval of the last photos written to the physical drive (whether deleted or formatted), but not the ones before that. I'm sure that the "Quick and Easy!!" progs don't cut it. Is there something more "hardcore" out there for that? I know that law-enforcement agencies use that kind of technology. I was just wondering if I could get help or if something semi-professional was available out there.

I have an Olympus FE-120, with a 3x optical zoom. My friend has a Olympus FE-110, with a 2.1 optical zoom. However, when we take pics of the same object from the same distance, her 2.1 zoom gets closer than my 3x zoom. Why is this?

The big seller about the Kodak is the 10x optical zoom, but I've read bad reviews ... on the other hand I've heard good things about the EX-Z850, but its only 3x optical zoom.

HELP!!!

I Want to grow in my photography skill and would like to know about classes or anything like that in my area, the best thing someone told me is to ask studio..to join on entry lvl.

How do i go about doin that?..i know afew studios in my area..lol but the problem is ..i don't want to go in there and get laughed at for asking a stupid question(so im doin it here lol)
What would be the best way for them to understand that im interesting in learning, training and anything they can teach me?

If i sound stupid for askin this question..well at least i tryed eh? :)

The sales person that I contacted replied asking me for my shipping address so that she can send me payment instructions. When I replied asking her for more information about her organization she gave me the email of a recent customer who I emailed. He said that he ordered 5 kits from them and that he just decided to take a risk sending Money Gram to the organization, which is basically cash. He said that after his first shipment arrived quickly and as promised he ordered more kits. He agreed to answer emails because they offered him a 5% discount in exchange.

Personally I don't think this is worth the risk. Sending cash and hoping that they send back the camera? No thanks. I'll just try to find my D200 somewhere else.

If anyone has more info please share.

I am in the market for a new digital camera but I'm getting a little overwhelmed with all the choices. I am looking for something under 500.00 with at least a 10x zoom. I would like it to be reasonably easy to use. Do any of you have any suggestions? I would REALLY appreciate it! Thanks in advance!
