I just bought a new HD DVD player and the HDMI cable. I am wanting to hook it up to my regular (non-HD) TV. Obviously there is no connection on my television to hook up this HDMI cable. So, will the HD DVD player even work if I were to hook it up to my tv (without a cable)? At this point, I'm not concerned about the HD "quality". I'm buying my HD items in pieces because I cannot afford to buy it all at once. But I have Planet Earth on HD DVD and would at least like to watch it. So, would I need another type of cable for the regular TV?

I am looking to spend $600-$1500 on my A/V receiver and I want to know if there is a receiver in my price range that will allow me to hook up my HD DVD, DVR, BluRay, Wii etc. and run those components via 1 HDMI out to each HDTV so that I don't have to have a receiver and components in each room??? I also need the receiver to power speakers in each room as well, although I don't Have To have surround in both if that won't work?
OK thanks for the help... Not to be reduntant, but basically I want 1 (Denon) receiver, 1 bluray, 1 DVR, 1 HD DVD, 1 Wii and I want to be able to access each one of them on each of my 2 HDTVs in my family room and master bedroom. The TVs will get cable and HD programming via cable cards. If it is possible I'd like1 HDMI cable to each TV be enough to access all of the components. I am sure we have to run speaker wires to power the surround in family and floorspeakers in the master.

It is a digital camera used for taking pictures.

I think it has eraser shavings and very small dog hairs on the lense.

I have seen a screeshot where a player was being interviewed ( http://uk.media.ps3.ign.com/media/775/775498/img_4632250.html ) and another was signing autographs ( http://uk.media.ps3.ign.com/media/775/775498/img_4832127.html ) : do the players actually talk/ does some kind of text appear? are these just pictires or a the actual videos in the master league? theses were the picture that intrigued me the most ( a bit of info on them would be welcome). I think i might have also seen a screenshot where what looked to be a manager character was being edited, is there a manger on the sidelines? can you import a face onto that manager? is it true you can edit you stadium (i.e build it, modify shape, etc...)? thanks

I read the game has this feature, similar to the one in the tony hawk's series, and i was wondering if you had to take a picture using the eyetoy or you could transfer a picture from a pc (using a cable or flash drive), because obviously the quality of the picture would be better, especially if you wanted the face of a real player (i guess you'd have to take a picture of picture with the eyetoy) . thanks

Carcassonne full arcade game is free on xbox live, just go to the marketplace blade on dashboard, select games and carcassonne and download full game for free. Only for thursday and friday. I've never tried it, should I download it?

I have Comcast cable wiyh their cable box.
I haven't used the Panasonic DVD Recorder model # DMR-85H for 7 months and now forgot how to hook it up. I pulled all the patch cords out of receiver and recorder and started from scratch. BUT I can record from a vcr to hard drive of DVD Recorder, but for the life of me can't record off tv even switching the channels on recorder and the input of the tv of L1,L2 and L3. What could I have missed?

TV broadcasts are made in 1080i not 1080p, therefore, will there be any difference in picture quality in a 1080p tv? Are the extra pixels in a 1920x1080p plasma or LCD only benificial when viewing blu ray discs or does it also improve quality off tv broadcasts
