The question can't generate a valid answer.
They are both reputable firms but it is like saying which is better "BMW or Audi" ... it's partly a matter of taste, partly a matter of what you want it for (e.g. sports car, family transport, off road), and partly a matter of which specific model compared to another specific model.
You have to decide what you want the speakers for (e.g. movies, music, both), what price point and finally what specific models to compare.
I don't think you will go far wrong with either firm's (or a many others) products, BUT, you have to decide what is important to you as well. You need to listen to them, not just look at specs. And in many cases when choosing between two good products it is the small things like size, finish or shape can be the deciding factor. In other words "better" is only valid to you when you get involved.
Do you really want to base a decision on someone's opionion that you have never met, doesn't know your taste, and you know nothing about?

Hi mike. The simple answer is there is no such speaker as "which speaker is better than another speaker." All speakers sound different to one another. That is because they all add their "own sound" to the sound they are reproducing.(colouration).The enjoyment of music is a personal, subjective experience. What one person considers "good music"may be regarded poorly by someone else. This is the same reason people choose loudspeakers.Everyone has a different reason for the loudspeaker of their choice. And no two people are exactly the same .However ,the objective task of the loudspeaker is to reproduce the original music exactly as it was performed .This is why there are no 'jazz speakers"or 'rock speakers"or "classical speakers" - just poor, good, better, and great speakers.
As different as good speakers can sound, there are two things that all good speakers have in common. One is a seamless sound from the very low bass to the very highest highs(you don't hear the individual drivers). The other is the ability to reproduce voices well Also a speaker should have correct tonal balance(no over or under emphasis of any part of it's frequency range). Precise imaging of the sound stage.Clarity by the speaker to preserve subtle musical details.Wide dynamic range and good tight bass response.
So,mike the choice is yours.Buy the speakers that sound best to your ears.

first of all, if you don't have an upscale receiver like a pioneer elite series then don't even consider the mirage. the receiver is the most important thing to consider. now if you have a kick @$$ reciever then it boils down to quality. Mirage is better than Klipsch. But if you are on a budget than Klipsch is the way to go. i currently have klipsch speakers but i will upgrade to mirage. i have to say though you get more bang for your buck with Klipsch because of the price difference.
