are we as consumers letting microsoft off too easy for selling us faulty systems as a whole.shouldn't the market they are trying for, the united states and eourpe, ***** a little.i mean come on, we love xbox and they maybe doing the right thing by fixing the poblem but this is too much and it shouldn.t of happened in the first place.sony's are built well shouldn't xbox do the same.

The newest Consumer Reports has an article on digital cameras. The ratings chart indicated whether or not a camera has image stabilization. Aparently - based on the chart - they do not make any distinction between lens-based, sensor-based or sensitivity shift technology. I feel that this is misleading and will cause many "consumers" to buy cameras that utilize ISO shift for so-called "image stabilization" who will then be disappointed in their results.

What do you think?

I have a panasonic dvd recorder and it won't read these discs I have. They are Spin-x brand DVD and I have used the exact same discs before and they have worked. I just opened this new batch of dvd's and the player won't read them. I also tried a different brand of DVD to see if it was the player and it worked. Anyone have any suggestions on why it would just stop reading these?

This is the new way to boil water in 3 seconds, supposedly saves electricity. I am tempted to get one as usually i only make one cup of tea/coffee at a time and tend not to use a teapot (unless we have visitors). What do you think if you have one?

with only 41,115 Ps3's running, the petaflop barrier was crossed on folding@home. F@H is a distributed computing network that is now the most powerful in the world because of the PS3. As the PS3 is capable of running 24/7, its potential for use here is just starting to be seen. It was only a matter of time before is got here, but with only 41,115 PS3's running, imagine what the numbers would be if everyone ran F@H, this could be something truly great.

Every magazine I buy, Every website I see...GREAT reviews of D-SLRS and the features they have...but NEVER a mention of BW digital photography.

Do the modern Canons and Nikons have a BW feature ? Does anyone out there have any experience with BW photography in today's D-SLR cameras ?

i have had my phone for 9 months and its on an 18 month contract with o2.

my 4 and 6 buttons arnt working and i cant even get it onto the m ain screen because the pin number has those two numbers in it.

I bought the tv about 10 months ago. It's developed a black line down the screen. Engineer has confirmed a new screen is required and order a replacement. Comet have told me after 14 days of the order being placed if the replacement is not ready they will consider giving me a new TV. Am I unreasonable to expect a replacement TV quicker than 14 days ? Can I demand a new TV instead of a replacement screen ?
