WHAT CAN I DO WITH THE MUSIC FEATURE ON the PS3?

im burnin cds on to my ps3, now i dont know if its like xbox and you can play the music during play, if so how do i do that and what games can i do that

I heard that there was supposed to be a future update that will allow PS3 users to listen to music while playing games. But the only thing that you can do with it now is to play the music while you are surfing the web.
