DVD Recorder won't read discs?

I have a panasonic dvd recorder and it won't read these discs I have. They are Spin-x brand DVD and I have used the exact same discs before and they have worked. I just opened this new batch of dvd's and the player won't read them. I also tried a different brand of DVD to see if it was the player and it worked. Anyone have any suggestions on why it would just stop reading these?

Maybe you bought +R or +RW and you player only supports -R -RW?

So check format. Check also speed (x8, etc.) maybe their speed rating does not match the capabilities of your recorder?

Might be the same brand but is it in the same format ( + or - ).
