I have sound and icomming and out going calls but my screen is black inside and out.

yeah, it could be many things, but, whatever it is, it's over your head. it needs to be looked at/fixed by a tech.
I would do one thing before I took it in. take the battery out for a couple minutes. if it's still bad when you reinstall then it's over your head. taking the battery out will reset the phone, so you've done all you can do.

The ribbon between the main phone and the lcd either broken or loose.
you need to get it replace.
you could find the ribbon at ebay.
i had replaced mine.
very simple u need a T6
and a little patient.

it is probably defective because I am on my 4th razr replacement and my second one had the same thing.
