its plugged in and it wont come on. any reason why? do i need to plug it in a new outlet? its plugged in one of those things where thers like 5 plugs in one. i also tried plugging it into a wall outlet. not working.

Is there a way I can clean it? Or do something to stop this happening it really does make reading some of the faxes I am sent very difficult. It happens in the same place all the time, thanks in advance

I just moved into a new apartment and I would like to have cable tv. However, the place is not "cable ready" meaning there are no cables and outlets. Now I am kinda lame when it comes to this electronic stuff. It is possible for them to install cable still, right?

I have a Cingular/AT&T phone and plan.

Ok, I had FULL signal in my house(I always do. I get all of my bars just about anywhere) about 30 minutes ago. I put my cell phone down by the computer, went and took a nap. Nobody touched my phone or anything. And when I got up, I had lost ALL of my signal. I walked all over the house, and all over the yard to get signal, but it still said "No Service"

I paid my bill on time, nobody spilled anything on it, it didnt hit the floor, it just completely lost signal for no reason...

What could've happened and what can I do?!

i have an i pod. my dad has an mp3 player. i have a bunch of my songs that i LOVE on my i pod!! one day when i went to buy more songs to put on it, i bought the songs then turned the ipod on to find 157 of my dads songs on my i pod!! i was like WTF?!?! how do i get my songs back on my i pod without deleting anysongs including my dads? he has all his songs still and none of mine if that helps. PLEEEEEEAAAAAASSSSEEEE help me!!!!!!!!!!!! i misssssss my soooooooongs!!!!!!!!!!!

Basically some 12" records have a slightly too wide centre hole, so the slightest push or pull can cause a dramatic spin. Does anyone have any tips on how to tighten up these holes so they sit on the turntable firmly?

I read where some of the LCD tv's don't have audio output jacks. SO...what do I do? I want an LCD but I am out of the loop as far as this stuff is concerned I guess what I need to know is am I going to be able to buy this tv, hook up my stuff that I have now and watch tv, or am I going to have to buy a bunch of extra junk just to make it work? I have a pair of Athena AS-B1.2 and they are phenomenal, they cost just over $100/pair. Flat response across the board, but lacking a bit in the bass department. Any recommendations on upgrades? I've heard the AV123 and Ascend brand speakers are unmatched. I'm driving this with a Zhaolu D/A and a Trends Audio low power amp, this will primarily be for music. Thanks!

A battery corroded inside one of my remotes. I was able to remove enough of the...well for lack of better term, crap, so that it is functional. But I really want to try to clean more of it off. It was the positive (+) end that corroded.

If additional details are needed, please let me know what, and I'll add. This is a remote that would not be easy to replace.

I cant seem to find affordadle THX certified pre-amplifiers in my price range that recently came out, the only other option I have is purchasing used ones that came out between 1999 to 2004 that are either THX Ultra or THX Ultra 2 certified, some of them also do not offer anymore upgrades. What pre-amplifiers would you suggest
