Thoughts? canon lens 24-70mm vs. 24-105mm?

I prefer the lens that offers the most frredom of choice. So go with the 24 - 105mm. The added expense will be well worth it.

Well if your budget only allows one then I vote for the 24-105mm zoom.

If you can afford two, the 24-70 and a 70-200 or 80-200. With two lenses you can cover a lot of photographic needs.
